One-on-one Cancer Support

{peer mentor network}

One of the most important services we offer is the connection of survivors, parents, and other young adults affected by cancer with one another for peer support and information exchange. To date we have networked thousands people with one another and connect over 200 young adults a year. The feedback that we have received from recipients of these connections over the years has been extremely positive.  We have received such an overwhelmining response to these peer connections that in 2007 we formed a partnership with Imerman Angels

out of Chicago, Illinois to enhance this service and more effectively and efficiently make these matches.

By joining our Peer Mentor Network you are agreeing to take the time to correspond with another survivor or loved one for peer support or mentoring.

If you know of anyone who would like to take advantage of this service, please have them contact Sharon Curran by emailing us or calling 410-964-0202 ext 113 or toll-free at 1-888-393-FUND(3863) ext. 113.
