"Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve. You dont have to have a college degree to serve. You dont have to have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve. You dont have to know about Plato and Aristotle to serve. … You only need a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love, and you can be that servant."
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Started as a small foundation in Columbia, Maryland in 1997, the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults (UCF) now serves young adult survivors and their families nationwide. Our programs offer a tremendous amount of support to our clients, affording survivors and their families the best possible resources for all of their needs.
With the continued expansion of our offerings, volunteers remain a crucial element of UCF. Volunteerism, in fact, surges through UCF as our lifeblood, a fact proven to us daily despite the clichéd analogy. Our growth would have been impossible but for the assistance of our dedicated volunteers. Their talents, experiences, and gifts of time demonstrate true enthusiasm and commitment.
Some upcoming volunteer opportunities:

Iron Girl Triathlon: Sunday, Aug 24th Centennial Park- Columbia, Maryland
